Really fun toy! by M. Adams
We got this for our four year old for Christmas this year and she loves it! I think it’s a really fun toy. it’s more than just your regular hair styling head, which is why I chose to buy it. You can style her hair, and sing songs from the movie along with her into the microphone. It’s more interactive. The animals even have sayings as well. And the mouth of princess rosella moves when she talks or sings too. It’s not all that educational, but young girls who love the island princess movie will love this toy.
Fun but loud by Lisa Lou
As other reviews have said, the styling head is very loud, with no volume control. My daughter is 5 and does really enjoy playing with it though. She only wanted two or three things for Christmas and this was one of them. Since Amazon had it cheaper than other places and offered free shipping, we got it.

I was not keen on getting this for my 7 yo daughter but she really wanted it for Xmas…she has not used it as much as I would have liked her to…after a few dys it went in the corner.
Could have come with more but overall entertaining by S. Bruno
I was suprised when we opened this that it didn’t come with more to do. (i.e. eyeshadow, lipstick) I see that there is a fake lipstick in this pictures but ours was purchased at ToysRUs and didn’t come with this (or it got thrown out with the Christmas wrapping paper!). My daughter just told me ” I like it when she talks to me. And you can press her necklace for her to sing. And I like it when the animals talk. And I like the stuff that comes with her to fix her hair.” So there you have it. She has had a lot of fun singing along with her. It helps that she has seen the movie and memorizes songs easily otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to sing along. But overall very durable and entertaining for a fan of the movie.
