This is the 2nd Webkinz we’ve added to our account & once it was added more cash was added along with extra goodies. This site is very educational for children & very fun for adults also =)
The Yorkie itself isnt quite as cute as it is in the picture. It’s ‘fur’ is kinda… ratty? But looks nice after it is brushed with a barbie brush, this could have been due to shipping or something, really not sure.

I just received this one for Christmas… i don’t understand why they call it a Yorkie, it looks more like a Matlese to me… but it’s still the most adorable puppy.
Webkinz is one awesome invention… and yes, they are educational, they have quizes based on each of the 4 core subjects (language, math, science, & social studies) catagorized by age groups, they teach responsibility (on a small scale) because you have to take care of them (feed, clothe, keep them healthy), it teaches about money because you have to earn & spend “kinz cash”. Not to mention how cute and fun they are.

This webkinz is very cute although kinda small. It has some pink coloring in the top part of the dog, its not all white with a pink bow. good gift.
Cute but Creepy by David Bivens
I bought the Webkinz yorkie for my girlfriend, knowing that it was her favorite dog and knowing that there was no way I was ever going to buy her a real one. It was cute, as expected, and she adores it. The only thing is, there is a “The Sims” -like computer game that goes along with it, as well as little chatrooms and such. Granted, we both know that it is meant for a child, but it is still a creepy concept. I wouldn’t want my future kids talking online to “other kids.” (aka anyone who buys a “pet”)
