The lamp is very cute but a little on the cheap side. I can not find to recommmend bulb for the lamp. It does not state in the instructions why this particular bulb is recommended. The lamp switch is on the cord not the base which can be a problem depending on the lamps position. There are probably better lamps that are just as cute.
