When in the mood to spruce up their virtual space, a shopping center offers clothing, shoes, pet toys, furniture and home decor. Looking for a personal makeover instead? The salon lets them freshen up a character’s current look or get a completely new one. There’s even a food court for buying snacks and a newsstand for reading the latest headlines.
To access this online realm of chic-ness, simply plug in the included USB device and follow the instructions to unlocking your Bratz character. The fun, interactive, and safe online environment allows girls to customize a personal MyPage, name their character, name their e-pet, design their hair, makeup, and clothes, and decorate their MyRoom. After the one time registration, the Be-Bratz world will automatically open every time the USB key is plugged in. Once set up, the almost endless fun begins!
Characters can chat with up to 50 other Bratz friends online, rename their characters and pets, go to the salon, hang out in the food court, personalize their room, and more. Most importantly, Bratz characters can accumulate points that work as virtual money for shopping, of course! Points are collected by playing games, selling apparel and room items back to stores at half their value, or through Be-Bratz.com Points Cards. (The cards can be purchased at retail outlets in values of 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000 points, and are redeemed by entering the card’s unique code online at your Be-Bratz.com account.) Points are what allow characters to get makeovers at the salon, new clothes at the boutique, food, pet toys, home decor items, and more. Points belonging to a Be-Bratz character cannot be traded with other Bratz.
This Light Skin Be-Bratz.com character has blond hair, wears a red dress, and comes with electric pink accessories, including her pet cat, mouse pad, and mouse. The USB “key” has pink Swarovski crystals on it and can be worn as a necklace. Additional accessories, such as a mini keyboard with hot pink keys, a bright pink webcam, and a pair of small pink computer speakers are available separately. While Be-Bratz.com dolls allow girls to make their online character as unique as themselves, it is possible to create multiple characters if additional Be-Bratz.com dolls are purchased.

My 10 year old daughter received this as a Christmas gift from her grandmother. She was very excited to use it right away. We jumped on the computer Christmas morning, plugged the key in and received an error message. Tried it on our other computer same thing. It appears the website was down. She was very disappointed not to be able to play with her new toy.
However, we waited a few days and tried again. Plugged the key in and away we went. The website launched, she got herself registered with little help from me and played for hours. The mouse that came with the doll won’t work on the her computer. The mouse pad that came with it, is really only usful if you can use the provided mouse because it’s so small. She played with it for a few days and has since lost interest in it.

….this website for the toy was overwhelmed on the holiday with people and the site crashed not allowing anyone access, this continued till well after the holiday and even though my daughter can get online now the excitement was totally ruined for her because she really wanted this and could not get online xmas day.
You would think the manufacturers would have been prepared for a large amount of people accessing their website because this toy was one of the most asked for this year. I am disappointed that they allowed this to happen.
Biggest Rip Off EVER by Sandra L. Rehagen
This was the ONLY thing my daughter wanted for Christmas. We made her wait until Christmas to get it and she was soooo excited. AND THEN, IT DOES NOT WORK! I found out after searching the web and spending HOURS trying to fix this that it is not even compatible with Vista. We have 3 computers that do not run VISTA and it will not work on ANY of them. This is the biggest waste of money I have ever seen! I still don’t know how to explain this to my heartbroken daughter. Shame on you greedy manufacturer to disappoint SO MANY KIDS ON CHRISTMAS and not offer any solutions! After watching my daughter cry for so long (she is mentally retarded and just does not understand) I will NEVER purchase any BRATZ products for any of my kids again!!!
Problems to get on, but daughter has fun on the site by M. Gaige
Well, the USB key never worked from day one - it wouldnt even recognize on my mac - then had to go to a friends house who had a pc and it wouldnt work their either, got the “just in case” file to finally open and i got the url to type it… then problem after problem with the website… perhaps I should give them some slack since it was Christmas, but the site wasnt working correctly until after the 29th and only if it was about 0300 a.m.
Now that I have her all signed up (which is signing her up, then having to make a parent account for myself) she can get on and she has fun setting up her Bratz’s room and pet accessories and such. Just a pain to get set up to begin with.
